By Merrimac Hats (union made), it's of genuine velour and has a rhinestone detail on the end of a ribbon. This hat has little velour covered wire grips that help it sit properly on the head whether you want to wear it at a tilt or straight. I adore this hat, but it's not in perfect shape missing 2 rhinestones on the pin. Otherwise it's lovely!
