From a collectors perspective, the unique appeal of the Japanese version can directly translate into its price

Spend 5 and then leave the rest of your mana ready for a land drop and cast

I also like that the land it gets you comes in untapped so youre still technically only losing 2 mana instead of 3 for the turn if you pay full price for the card

It really doesnt take a huge amount of mana to turn Debt to the Deathless into a consistently game-ending card, and the name of it is also just very cool
