Like always, my choices for the list are subjective

Welcoming Vampire is relatively straightforward but does its job well

This deck also includes some powerful cards that will probably cross over into other decks

Its one Move, Amass, does no damage but lets you attach an extra Steel Energy to it each turn

They should stay on whatever permanent they were on, even though they become permanents themselves

However, there are more efficient cards like Dread Return or Reanimate that offer immediate graveyard recursion without requiring additional mana to cast the spell initially, making them potentially better options depending on the overall strategy of the deck
