They don't buff forever but they are decently powerful, on theme and probably enough punch that you only need the one turn with them and some tokens to win

Ive steered clear of tutor cards so that taking multiple turns is the occasional surprise rather than a reliable machine
A lot of decks are built around hitting certain numbers -- usually 170 or 180 in order to knock out EX Pokemon -- so having 190 HP can throw a tiny but significant wrench into your opponent's plans
