The version from the main set, Sauron, the Dark Lord, seemed a bit oppressive to the style of Commander I typically enjoy playing due to that tough ward cost as the commander, so instead I chose to build around the version from the Commander preconstructed deck: Sauron, Lord of the Rings

In the early days of the Pokmon TCG youd find kids with giant stacks of the highly collectible cards who knew little about the game itself and simply wanted to trade the likeness of Pikachu and friends

The most likely reasons are if it's sacrificed, if it's legendary and another legendary creature with the same name is controlled by the same player, or if its toughness is 0 or less.
