1950s pastel drawings by Tatiana McKinney (1909-2008) I have in the shop--and they are both truly luminous

features a chip carved pattern on the front which I think might be meant to represent a sprig of Spruce

perhaps drawn with the aid of a microscope

The visible neck of the snake is about 2 1/2" long

I'm not entirely sure

It was someone known, though, and has the feel of a New Yorker cartoon to me, perhaps just in wait of the perfect caption! Great from cap to shoes I think, especially all that ink drawn pattern, and seems like a nice one to hang either in the dressing room, to inspire efforts toward dapperness, or near the front door to inspire preparedness for
