Some spotting to the white paint as evident and a bit of splitting to the wood on one short side

I believe--chose this postcard to send to Miss Rosy Marek

It looks to me this one was deemed special enough to frame long ago

and with these marvelously large fingers at the end of one arm meeting that knee

with a little curling/creasing along the right edge of the paper and a small crease along the left bottom edge as well as a little staining

1833 Miniature Book, "Daily Food for Christians", Perkins & Marvin, Boston three children Some spotting to the whiteI plucked this one off a shelf at my favorite rare book shop in Maine (where I make semi regular pilgrimages) due to its tiny size and clear old age; to my sensibilities it's just a marvelous little object. And surely the diminutive scale was so that it could be easily carried around in one's pocket and frequently consulted, delivering a Bible verse for each day of the year. I'd guess it was the Annie Briggs who wrote her name on the first inside page
