Plans, original designs, and pictures reveal how the midcentury house remains both contemporary and atemporal today. Abandoning her initial plan of a musical career, from the 1950s onwards, Putman worked as a journalist and designer for the magazines Elle and l'Oeil. From the 1980s onwards, the Parisian
