I like it as much as any slate painting I've seen

but I rather like the straight across line of his empty hands now—or one could stick other things through the holes at the end of his arms

and the front cover features an image of "Ramona's House" I believe inspired by Helen Hunt Jackson's popular Victorian novel "Ramona

2 7/8" long x 3/4" wide x 1" tall and in great condition

I especially love the horse--in original paint I believe

And the setting composition, fluttery leaves behind him and spiky ones running in a diagonal to frame his leg, is just right. 4 3 8" x 2 13 16". Very good condition.
