Butterfly of Stone Necklace aventuring Earrings measure 2" and 2This piece was created for an exhibition called "Aware" which focused on the problem of human trafficking in the Hampton Roads, VA area. Stone, be it agate, gemstones, or even pebbles, is usually too heavy to float or fly. These slabs of agate have become part of a butterfly, allowing them freedom that they didnt have before. As the human trafficking epidemic comes to light, may those individuals held down and captured also experience freedom. The
