I like how the green stem of the orange becomes a blur as it grows in size

carefully glued together

thick walled and very satisfying with great rounded ends

which I think adds to a bit of mystery about them

but only a few traces on the front

Really all quite beautifully done. And on the back, protected under an old sheet of acetate, a page from the Herald Tribune, 1864, which dates it and makes for some pretty interesting reading itself!
